HafenCity - Hamburg, Germany

HafenCity Hamburg, the largest urban development project in Europe, has been built on 157 hectares directly on the Elbe and the port. This new district of the city has been created to provide a unique mix of living and working downtown directly on the water. By 2020, around 40,000 people will be working in the newly built offices and around 12,000 will be living there. Following the vision of the HafenCity to improve working and living conditions, Traxon turned a company’s former recreation room into a stylish relaxing lounge. 80 1PXL Boards RGB, installed behind Barrisol, and over 100 1PXL Cove Lights XR are illuminating the area with a multitude of colors and effects, embellishing the office area and creating a harmonious ambiance. The whole installation is controlled by Traxon’s Micro Server and e:cue’s Lighting Control Server 1. Situated in one of the modern district in Germany, this project perfectly underlines the link between Traxon’s state of the art lighting solutions and modern city lifestyle.
