Upon closer inspection, the lip on the orbiting hand-worked iron bands changes in depth as it wraps around the core, creating added dimension and a feel of movement from every angle. The glass orb at the nucleus of Apogee is powered by a high performance LED, which casts a plethora of glowing light through its lumen output of 2700K, yet can be controlled to create any ambiance when used with a standard incandescent dimmer switch. The contrast between the bronze, polished steel and gold leaf finishes adds fresh appeal to the retro modern quality of the piece and enhances the notion of depth. Apogee comes with multiple length stems and is available in three sizes, ranging between 24" diameter and an impressive 40" diameter to fit any universe.
