Porcelain Cup SideTable/Stool
Side tables from Tucker Robbins, Designed by Tucker Robbins
Product description
Concept
Reinterpreted in Peruvian porcelain from the royal family of the Bamun tribe in Cameroon, the pattern represents the universal circle of life as well as unity within the community. Assisted by Aid to Artisans and funded by USAID money, this porcelain workshop began as a way to give the people of Peru meaningful, fulfilling jobs to dispel the strife of civil war. Five years ago Tucker began partnering with the artisans in this same workshop to produce his line of hand thrown and cast tables both because he believed in the mission and the finished products.
