The Tube series were created by a basic heat conducting mould and filled with recycled thermoplastic granules. By heating the mould from the outside the material melts and bonds. After cooling, the vessel is de-moulded and the excess material is re-used. dimensions: height 34 x Ø 8cm

Concept

The ongoing experiments with the patented Make&Mold technique led to the creation of the Tube series. A basic heat conductive mould is filled with recycled thermoplastic granules. By heating the mould from the outside the material melts and bonds. Due to the melting of the coloured pellets the flow of the black and white pellets create a unique surface contrast. after cooling the mould, the vase is de-moulded and the excess material is reused.
