Sistema Cases
Shelving from UniFor, Designed by Ateliers Jean Nouvel
Product description
Concept
With his Cases, Jean Nouvel proposes a new vision for office furnishings that develops a feeling of controlled improvisation, of heterogeneity, of space created according to the moods and affinities of those who inhabit it. Containers that can be sat on, climbed on and shifted about the room, desktops that can be grouped, re-grouped or removed, for a comfortable environment born of a process of spontaneous self-building that is capable of fostering a less conventional and more constructive approach to work.
Carefully assembled from a single catalog of objects, the pieces can be arranged and rearranged according to a heterogeneous organizational scheme and a personalized vision of space. Like the architectural volumes of a constantly changing city, the compositional solutions can take the form of lines, blocks, stacks and so on as required, resulting in a fun and welcoming office skyline, a city to wander through, explore, climb over…and be in.
