Unopiù decodes our memories of those very first chairs made of a metal structure and nylon strands, that populated the outdoors of cafés and restaurants all over Italy. The chairs embodied the essence of the 70s and have revolutionized the outdoor design, not only linked to the garden but also to social and urban environments.

Unopiù intends to recover that heritage, respectful of the tradition, yet reinterpreted in contemporary perspective. The result is a colourful and fresh collection that does not forget the roots of our identity.

Coco by Unopiù is indeed a contemporary interpretation of the iconic chair that once typically furnished Italian cafés, with its matal frame and nylon strands. A throwback to the 70s, to the origins of Unopiù, to the essence of Italian outdoor design and lifestyle.

The structure, featuring a tubular metal frame between 20 and 25 mm, depending on the element of the line, and a round polyolefin cord stretched and criss-crossed around it, is the pattern at the heart of the collection. The aesthetic balance between the cord and the structure creates a very-easy-to-read design, fresh and refined, suitable for any environment, from a garden to urban areas.

Versatility, lightness and a three-dimensional twist are the main features of this collection. Thanks to the technological innovation and the choice of pioneering materials, Unopiù has revisited an iconic product through a contemporary reinterpretation: a throwback that preserves the original timeless allure.

This collection, that represents a tribute to the Italian style, is composed of five elements: a chair, a small armchair with a footrest, a two-seater sofa and a coffee table.
