Inspired by the physiognomy and movement of sharks, Jaime Hayon has created the ALETA collection for Viccarbe.
The collection is designed and created for use in publicspaces like restaurants, hotels or offices as well asresidential spaces.Composed of a chair and stool. The subtle details in the structure of the legs and the continuous movement towards its backrest, reflects the personality and character of Jaime Hayon.

Moulded plywood seat and backrest covered with expanded polyuretane foam.

METAL BASE: Calibrated steel structure powder coated in thermoreinforced polyester.

Concept

Inspired by the physiognomy and movement of sharks, artist-designer Jaime Hayon created the Aleta collection for Viccarbe in 2017. A collection with a unique aesthetic designed to encourage conversation and promote flexibility in spaces. Includes chair, lounge chair, executive version, stool, and low table, all designed for use in offices and flexible workplaces, hospitality areas, restaurants, homes and beyond.

Aleta is made to order in Spain and is available in multiple finishes to match every project's requirements.
