Product description
Available in six upholstery colours, the full-grain uncoated leather will develop a rich and enviable patina with time. The shell – in either off-white or black – is made from a hot-pressed sheet moulding compound, which is similar to, but stronger than fibreglass. The base is a traditional coil-sprung structure overlaid with a rubberised-coir pad (a mixture of torn coconut husks and natural rubber). Dimensions (cm): 66w x 52d x 42h
Concept
Designed by Dieter Rams for Vitsœ in 1962, the 620 Chair Programme is a kit of parts that adapts to your changing life. Separate chairs can become a sofa – or vice versa – at any time in the future. A low back can be changed for a high back, a swivel base can replace castors or feet, and a matching footstool adds to the comfort.
