Concept
The lounge chair NewBestFriend is a comfortable soft seating chair. A minimal plywood seating upholstered front to back in Kvadrat Wool textile. Carried by just as minimal a frame that is assembled from only two pieces of formed precision tube. The front and rear legs each support the back and seat respectively as well as they serve as armrests. This seemingly self-sustaining constructive principle is the main idea behind the design of your New Best Friend.
Steel is recycled material and wood is certified. Seat mold is reused and the seat cut is redesigned to fit design completion. Made locally by family owned enterprises. All designed, crafted and recycled in Denmark after “end of life-cycle” to support the circular economy.
