Product description
Concept
Austrian architect and designer Gregor Eichinger re-invents the classic cookie box.
Inspired by the historical archives of the Wiener Silber Manufactur with its 11.000 drawings, Gregor Eichinger designed a new and noble “cakesdose”. It revives an old name and determination in a new shape. The purpose is to serve of cookie with a precious experience. The cookies are presented in a dark glass container inside a silver box that unwraps like a napkin. Eichinger`s “cakesdose” makes a statement that combines the high table culture of the traditional Viennese Salon with a contemporary and cool lifestyle. The box is hand-made of pure silver (940/1000).
