Made to the dimensions of a classic shelf, the length and width are fixed at 40 cm, but the height can vary from a minimum of 70 cm, to suit specific requirements. Whether matching the height of a desk, sideboard or shelves, RELAX 040 finds a space in every room with ease.

Like all YDOL RELAX products, it playfully makes formal and aesthetic reference to existing furniture. The cover material is made of pure merino wool and the acoustic fabric JIL, which can be fabricated in 36 popular colours. The top and bottom surfaces of the unit can be selected from 9 kinds of wood, 3 aluminium surfaces and in any desired colour. This versatility offers an incomparable colour spectrum and material choice for acoustic design and space planning. It has four invisible feet that can be individually adjusted as required, and used to form a pleasing shadow gap of 2 cm between the bottom edge of the unit and the ground.
