‘As It Is In Heaven’ is an opal-esque treasure light. Inspired by the world’s largest and most valuable opal gem ‘Olympic Australis’, found in the outback town of Coober Pedy, South Australia, this artistic sculptural installation features a collection of pendants fastened to a white ceiling plate illuminated by LED downlights. Each pendant combines colored acrylic and glass discs of varied length and size and is finished with Swarovski crystals (optional). The result is a design which captures, diffracts and throws the light – just like an Australian opal sparkling up from the red dirt. A kaleidoscope of dappled complimentary color bleeds across ceilings, walls and surfaces simulating the feeling of warmth felt in the outback. ‘As It Is In Heaven’ is a contemporary indoor lighting gem.
