Product description

Gossamer is based on one of Zoffanys best loved designs Brocatello which was adapted from an ornate gilt and silver thread lampas from the late 19th century. It takes a small element from the original wallpaper and enlarges it to make an organic abstract pattern. It is designed in such a way that the wallpaper can be hung in two different recommended configurations depending on the size of the design required. The inspiration came from the intricate gold leaf painting by artist Richard Wright winner of the Turner Prize in 2009.
