The Zero Pile Vintage Collection
This is a new collection launched at DOMOTEX 2016 that combines classical Persian vagireh and floral motifs with Indian weaving artistry. Vagirehs were sampler rugs. In the 19th century, weavers were given all the design elements that made up the full design of a rug to be woven as a sample to show the colours and balance of the full rug to be woven. Vagirehs normally came in small ‘sampler’ sizes. We have transformed a traditional design into a modern classical with a vintage look and finish. These carpets are made of wool.
