Rodo Firenze, Made in Italy symbol all over the world, selected the 3D Surface walls to characterize his first italian store, which opened in February in Milan.
During Milan’s fashion week Rodo Firenze celebrated the opening of its first Italian boutique. Elegance and quality blend harmoniously in this exclusive store, perfectly in line with the craftsmanship and the tradition of the brand. For the decoration of this exclusive boutiques’ spaces the innovative Textures from 3D Surface has been selected to characterize the interior decoration, creating a refined atmosphere.
The architect, Alfio Bonciani, worked with Deserto for this project. This iconic texture from 3D Surface is inspired by the waves of sand, shaped by wind and suggesting imperceptible movements. A three-dimensional motiv inspired by nature which perfectly agrees with the soft tones of the showroom and its minimalist elegance. Within this space, the Deserto covering winds along the scenic crystal staircase that connects the boutique to the showroom and offices on the upper floor.
3D Surface is a new Italian company founded in 2011, created by the meeting of Romano Zenoni and Alessandro and Stefano Fazzuoli, artisans with fifty years of experience in the field of interior finishes and furnishings. The sculpture-walls of 3D Surface finished by decorative coatings allow surfaces to become endless, without interruption or joints.
3D Surface wall coverings represent an important innovation in the usual scenario of coatings, for the use of materials and their installation launching an important signal to the contract and design world. Thanks to the development of two special ceramic based materials created for interior and exterior, (TRB, TRG) 3D Surface technology allows designers to conceive all kinds of surface proposals.
Among the sixteen textures proposed by 3D Surface, some are faithful reproductions of real effects, such as Deserto, Bamboo, Tenda, others refer to abstract shapes, conceived from the designer’s imagination and contemporary artistic trends, such as Tagli and Caos. The company also realizes personalized textures, developed to meet the creativity of architects and designers. Installation is simple and takes place by gluing: once grouted joints surfaces become fluid and continuous. 3D walls are enhanced with light creating light and shadow effects. and the covered surface comes alive.
