‘Back to the essence’
That is the motto of this impressive house at a lake in Bavaria, Germany. This house, that made the dream of a couple came true, is characterized by its sleek design and minimalistic interior. The switches of Basalte fit perfectly in the picture.
The lake sight location was the perfect place to start up this prestigious project. The original building had a typical seventies look, therefore they chose to renovate this building with all its faults and weaknesses completely. Now, the black Eternit-façade hides an architectural pearl with minimalistic black-and-white accents.
This couple fulfilled their ultimate dream and consciously chose to equip their new home with all the newest technical features and an intelligent home automation system.
To meet their high demands in the field of technique and design, they chose for Basalte switches. Not only because these switches have countless technical possibilities, but also because they fit perfectly with the minimalistic and modern lining of the interior.
With the Sentido switches from the Basalte product line, it is possible to control everything in the house. Touching more than one surface at the same time turns on and off all the lights in a room using a general scene. This multi-touch function makes light control highly intuitive and user friendly.
Touching multi-touch for a longer period starts the unique scene sequencer function, which allows selecting up to four additional scenes. The internal temperature sensor discretely reports the room temperature to the home automation system while the integrated thermostat logic controls the heating and air-conditioning of the room.
The multicolour LED backlight can be used for status feedback or simply to light up Sentido in the dark.
Because of his sleek and modern design and all his high-tech possibilities, Sentido was the ideal switch for this project.
