Seating Ovations: „Brunner Lounge“ in the new Europa Park stadium of SC Freiburg.
The Europa Park stadium of the Bundesliga football club SC Freiburg has become the new home of the sports club and is supposed to be representative of the identity and history of the traditional club. Over 1,000 Brunner chairs as well as bar stools, lounge chairs, tables and standing tables found their place in the new VIP areas.

SC Freiburg and the internationally active design and contract furniture manufacturer Brunner from Rheinau in Baden will also cooperate for the new stadium at Wolfswinkel. As a new team partner, Brunner also has obtained the naming rights for the "Brunner Lounge" of the same name on the first floor - the partnership goes back to the 2017/18 season. "As a regionally rooted family business, it has been a special concern for us to equip the new home of SC Freiburg with design contract furniture 'Made in Baden'. We are delighted to be extending our partnership and proud to see Brunner furniture complement the great design of the new stadium," says managing director Dr. Marc Brunner. The expanded partnership is also cause for celebration for SC board member Oliver Leki: "In view of the close relationship that has developed between the Sports Club and Brunner over the past three years, the expansion of the partnership is exactly the right step."
Together, guests, partners, sponsors and fans can now be offered the best comfort in the business areas on the ground floor and the first floor. The hospitality areas are sure to be among the top three places in any case.

With a project of this size and importance, of course nothing has been left to chance in order to meet the increasing demands on functionality, stadium experience and entertainment. Therefore, it was important to find partners who had the necessary know-how and a certain professionalism and quality.
"The contract furniture manufacturer Brunner from Rheinau has just that. Once again, Brunner has shown how individuality and quality go hand in hand with functionality and comfort, and how its timeless designs can integrate into the space and perfectly support the interior idea," says interior designer Clemens Bachmann from the CBA office in Munich, which designed the hospitality areas in the new stadium.

Numerous pieces of Brunner furniture now play a part in the space, inviting football enthusiasts to take a seat and offering all visitors a comfortable stadium experience as well as the opportunity to experience a distinctive and therefore unforgettable event in the premises away from the matchday action.

With 1,099 m², the Brunner Lounge is the second largest area in the new SC Freiburg stadium. With two themed niches and a terrace with a view of the pitch, it is a perfect location for versatile events.
The largest area in the new stadium, 1,100 m², is on the ground floor with direct access to the grandstand seating. The seating can be individually adapted to customer requirements and creates the right gala or event ambience.

In order to set individual accents, Brunner developed a special chair colour in the typical SC Freiburg red. The chair does not push itself into the foreground, but blends in perfectly with the stadium surroundings.
