Hotel & Restaurant Seegarten

Situated in a highly visible location between the Sorpesee reservoir and the new promenade, Hotel Seegarten is right by the Langscheid spa complex and its park. The long-established hotel has been expanded by the addition of an impressive extension, setting new standards with its clarity and the transparency of its almost fully glazed façade, coupled with a fascinating spa area with an outside pool on the roof of the building. It is a deliberate contrast to the more traditional architectural language of the neighbouring main building. The Austrian designer Stefan Ghetta has managed to follow through with this aesthetic standard in the hotel’s interior too. In the rooms guests will encounter almost entirely untreated exposed concrete surfaces, while enjoying generous seating arrangements and a glorious view of the lake. The sophisticated bathrooms have the option of being visually open to the bedrooms, giving the 24 rooms of the extension a hint of luxury.

So it almost goes without saying that BÜSCHE products were used to decorate the windows. All the Junior and Panorama lofts have been fitted with the time-tested and sophisticated motorized sets from the BÜSCHE TECDOR series. The 28mm sets in matte black were installed right below the ceiling. The required lengths of up to 14 metres made it necessary for two 7-metre sets to be joined together, likewise two motors, which were appropriately synchronized. To make sure the views of the lake are not obscured by the curtains when they are open, the profiles have been curved in such a manner that the curtains are guided around to the side walls. This project demonstrates more than almost any other how flexibly and customer-specifically the BÜSCHE curtain sets can be deployed. Our proximity to the Hotel Seegarten means our visitors can, upon request, view this exceptional hotel and experience the quality and functionality of our products live and in situ.
