128 apartments next to 2784 m2 of administrative and commercial space, at Lausanne’s doorsteps and in the heart of a developing area.
As part of the lost step of the West Bugnon area in the Mont-sur Lausanne, the CCHE office developed and realized on behalf of Retraites Populaires the “Balcons du Mont” project with 128 apartments and over 2,700 m2 of activities.
Among the buildings that design this new area, appears an over 65 m high tower composed of apartments for rent and declined from 2.5 to 4.5 rooms. The construction of these buildings is particular. In fact, the privately owned has been made available to the promoter through a building lease in order to offer housing with affordable rents.
Another particularity is that it is the only new tower built in the entire French-speaking part of Switzerland. This project distinguishes itself by its pure lines and its resolutely contemporary architecture.
Composed of 18 floors, its facades with bay windows are open on the horizon at 360 ° and offer a magnificent clearance on the city of Lausanne, the lake and the Jura.
Its small footprint on the ground as well as the underground parking enabled to create a beautiful arborized park in the heart of an area aimed for residents and walkers, used for relaxing and playground. All the costs and deadlines associated to this project have been totally met.
