Located in the district of the embassies of Paris, a street art collector asked me to create a collection of furniture for his apartment. Together we have decided to work on an interior project, where the artists can express themselves and deliver their art, their "message". I therefore created a scripture that only the owner can understand the meaning, the "hidden" message. Inspired by the cuneiform scripture, each furniture blends natural, raw and precious materials, allowing me to play on the visual and functional aspect.
The main element of this natural oak, metal and brass furniture family, is a library of 3.60 meter high and 3 meters large which stands in the heart of the main room along a black wall. A ladder, a staircase giving access to the mezzanine, a door between mural fresco and bas-relief, and a radiator cover playing with the full and empty, complete the collection. Each element takes place in the heart of this apartment while respecting the work of each artist and the architectural nature of the interior space.
If you go to Paris, come and discover this place of artistic expression, where custom-made contemporary furniture, art deco architecture and street-art works dialogue in secret.
