Ambience in Copenhagen

Rune Bech was the man behind the re-launch of the legendary Danish music venue Jazzhus Montmartre. In the renovation process, wooden planks in Dinesen HeartOak were a recurring element. The exclusive and exceptionally wide Dinesen oak planks provide a very rustic, authentic expression. Natural cracks have been preserved and locked with dovetail joints of oak.

The oak floors in HeartOak lends an exclusive ambience to the jazz club, and Rune Bech loved this flooring so much that he chose Dinesen HeartOak when he set out to renovate his new flat in the heart of Copenhagen. Here too, the unusually wide planks help add ambience and gravity to the rooms. Selected design furniture adds further personality and character. Another noteworthy detail is the kitchen bench, which is also made of Dinesen HeartOak.
