Private Wine Cellar

This dark and gloomy bunker is awakening dual senses. Built at the period of interwar for storing guns and other military ammunition now it is a part of a private house. The task here was to build a Steampunk-themed wine cellar.

With design decisions directed by this particular style, we wanted to create a feeling of fantasy world, allowing the visitor to escape reality, at least for a moment. This elongated space is emphasised by metal arcs echoing the shape of vaulted ceiling. The central spot at the cellar is left for a three-dimensional artwork - a silhouette of an iron man. The functional plan of this space is of great importance. While one side feels dedicated to the captain of the ship, the other part is left for his crew. A truly unique space to dive into the world of illusion and mystery.
