We’re excited to reveal the latest prestigious international project involving Effe as the wellness partner. It is the prestigious Cheval Blanc Hotel in Paris, inaugurated on 7 September 2021 following extensive restyling by the French architect Edouard François and the New York starchitect Peter Marino, who added their bold and contemporary style to the historical La Samaritaine department store complex.
Established in 2006, the Cheval Blanc group creates unique properties, with an unparalleled sense of detail. Cheval Blanc Paris, the latest addition to the ultra-luxury hotel chain, is a stunning tribute to Art Deco and French savoir faire, taking architecture, décor and furnishings to new heights of sophistication.
The 16,000-metre square building - with 72 rooms and suites, a Dior spa, a garden on the seventh floor and 4 prestigious restaurants - is designed to feel like a private home, with exquisite furniture, works of art and bespoke vintage furnishings.
The rooms and suites, with their relaxing cream and beige tones, have floor-to-ceiling windows, affording uninterrupted breathtaking views of Paris and flooding the rooms with light.
Each of the 26 rooms and 46 suites has an ensuite Hammam with an Effe Nuvola Smart Power steam generator. The Hammam and shower space, with its transparent toughened glass walls, lets guests enjoy the sensory experience of the Turkish bath, as they soak up the beautiful surroundings and typical Parisian atmosphere. The sophisticated technology and essential design of Nuvola Smart Power - with only a mini backlit touch-screen control panel on view - are in keeping with the elegant, harmonious but minimal, contemporary look the designers were seeking.
Nuvola Smart Power is the new high-performance range of steam generators featuring exclusive energy-efficient systems. The SWF (Smart Water Filling) function ensures optimised boiler management, guaranteeing maximum energy savings and increasing the life of the generator. The ODS (Open Door Sensor) feature automatically interrupts steam generation if the door is left open.
To optimise the density and temperature of the steam in the Hammam, the high-tech diffuser is fitted with a ventilation system.
