My Dream

Of the many projects in which EFFE is the main player in creating custom-made spa spaces, one that has received great acclaim for its unique design can be seen ploughing through the waves.
This is the design for the yacht My Dream, winner of the 2019 World Superyacht Award in the Best Converted Yachts category.
My Dream is the world’s 38th largest yacht at 4,500 square metres, its custom-made design the work of Simone Ciarmoli and Miguel Queda of CQS, Ciarmoli Queda Studio, to meet the needs of a latest generation superyacht.

My Dream boasts 23 cabins, a 400 m2 lobby, an indoor and an outdoor dining room able to host 44 people, a number of lounge areas, a SPA, a home theatre, a swimming pool with a sea view and some amazing access points for swimming, diving and water sports, including a pull-out bridge jutting out into the sea.

The total transformation of a small passenger ship into one of the most modern and stylish jewels of the sea is the result of the work of an international Italian-Greek team. The aim was to create functional and comfortable spaces with balanced design. To make the dreams of owner, the shipping tycoon George J. Prokopiou come true, by creating these functional and comfortable spaces with well balanced, stylish design, Simone Ciarmoli and Miguel Queda conjured up a special image of the notion of contemporary luxury, a combination of state-of-the-art technology and classic design in which highly–prized materials and the unique qualities of Made-in-Italy craftsmanship play a leading role. The use of five dominant colours in subtle, unsaturated shades inspired by the seascape, create continuity between the spaces and a natural relationship between the interior and exterior.

EFFE is very proud of the part played in the My Dream design project involving the creation of two tailor-made spa spaces, interpreting the principles behind the complete restyling ethos combining stylish classic design with the best that technology has to offer.

The yacht’s spa space houses a Hammam with a Nuvola Smart Power steam generator and SKY sauna specially adapted for the design by the EFFE team.

The Prokopiou family’s private spaces have a personal Hammam also equipped with a Nuvola Smart Power steam generator and a made-to-measure Spazio steel door.
