HERMANN’S, BERLIN, GERMANY
Located in the vibrant neighbourhood of Berlin Mitte, Hermann’s is an all-day restaurant, event location, test kitchen, and film studio in one.
To accommodate this multitude of uses, Hermann’s has created an event-ready playground for experimentation and collaboration and a place to meet, create and get inspired. A place where you can feel at home.
A MULTITUDE OF APPLICATIONS
The open space at Hermann’s is divided into several interconnected areas, each designed to fulfil a specific purpose: dining, working, meeting and relaxing. To create this inspiring and welcoming atmosphere, Fredericia was chosen as the principal supplier of furniture with its diverse, yet coherent collection which honoured the various functions needed in the space.
The Pon side tables by Jasper Morrison and the J16 rocking chair by Hans J. Wegner in solid oak are a testament of longevity and sustainability matching the ecological spirit and philosophy of Hermann’s.
A variety of light hues and tactile surfaces, as well as an exciting product mix featuring both classic and contemporary designs from designers such as Børge Mogensen, Jasper Morrison and Space Copenhagen, were crucial ingredients for Hermann’s architects in achieving the desired atmosphere. Fredericia’s interior experts provided advice and coordination on the final aspects of the project.
Fredericia pieces found in the project: Swoon chair, No. 1 3-seater sofa, Pato Lounge chair, Pato chair, Pon side table, Spine lounge chair + stool, J16 rocking chair, Piloti, Spine barstool.
