Contemporary Swiss designs combined with modern technology are the key elements of the new Swissôtel lobby in Zurich. Its modern yet classy interpretation of typical Swiss traditions gives the lobby a comfortable and homely feeling. The core of every hotel or resort is its lobby giving the guests their first and final impression of the hotel. An efficient check-in system is therefore equally important as the comfort level of any lobby.
Next to the progressive furniture, which was created with natural recourses such as Swiss pine wood, the artistic play with the topic of snow gives the lobby its characteristic appearance. Elements made from chrome steel and etched with individual snowflakes hang from the ceiling. A film installation depicts Switzerland in all her raw beauty.
