Implenia is developing a new, diverse and sustainable quarter on the Werk 1 plot at the Sulzerareal site in Winterthur. The design specifications depict an attractive, exciting architectural development with large open spaces. The historic industrial warehouses will be preserved while the planned apartment buildings will ensure economic use of the space. Werk 1 will be the first 2000-Watt area in Winterthur. In addition to the planned residential buildings, the plot will also house further developments such as the new main site of the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW). Implenia is also developing and constructing the new Centre for Healthcare Professions in the former Hall 52, right next to Werk 1, for the ZHAW.
