What has driven this project was the aspiration to develop a high-quality chair that would still come at an attractive price. Two small pieces of molded plywood form the back and the seat of the chair. The four legs and the two aprons are made from solid wood. Just a few simple parts form the ingredients for this design. The forces from the legs are directed into the seat. The forces acting on the backrest are directed into the space between the seat and the back legs. Two pieces of soft molded plywood connect all the individual elements of the chair. The main feature of “Juppa” is its intrinsically dynamic construction. The chair provides great sitting comfort.
