Aitoku Hoikuen is located in a residential district of Saitama City. Aitoku is a Center for Early Childhood Education and Care, which combines nursery school and kindergarten, and it takes care of 150 children.

In formulating the design, we assembled small houses to make a big 2-story house closer to a human townscape.

Each roof is pitched differently in order to express natural sequence from the landscape of the town. The interior is made with wood and fabric, which can help to create a gentle and varied space.
