Smådalarö Gård Spa & Hotel

The Smådalarö Spa & Hotell is an institution of the Stockholm Archipelago, Sweden, tracing its roots as far back as 1810. The house is inspired by the Italian 18th century villas, and in 2021 it went through an extensive renovation. La Riggiola's handmade tiles contribute significantly to create the elegant, timeless interiors of this exquisite place: the sober white and blue patterned tiles in all bathrooms, with a certified non slippery glaze on the floors, together with the deep bottle green monochrome tiles in the SPA clearly reveal their handcrafted character, giving all interiors their uniqueness and beauty.

At La Riggiola we use to say that our tiles can speak many languages, as it is quite evident in this project: the Architects were here able to perfectly combine the minimalism of Scandinavian interiors and the richness and warmth of the Mediterranean tradition.
