Traces of diffused light punctuate the perimeter walls, fragmenting the confined space and multiplying themselves in the reflections of mirrors, either overwhelmingly exposed, or cleverly concealed in the peculiar construction of a continuous volume.
Illusion is the chosen word to describe at best the MIU project, an intimate restaurant in the very heart of the liveliest area in the city center. Slabs of polished bush-hammered steel to the ceiling, interspersed with silk-screened glass sheets, convey the impression of a fluid surface, softened in the suffused tones of the onyx-effect glossy stoneware tops of the tables.
The gray color of the flooring and the bare walls, in distinct contrast with the three-dimensionality of the complex installations of the fit-out, trigger an engaging dialogue with the typically urban external environment. The storytelling is completed by two digital-paint printed murals with dreamlike content.
