Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Milan Project: Antonio Citterio and Patricia Viel, 2015.
The project included the renovation of three historic buildings to offer a glimpse of that particular hidden and more private Milan, providing guests with an experience of Milanese style in a hotel that is elegant and intimate, but also inspired by the visual richness so typical of the brand. The neutral and rigorous design of the architects pairs with highly decorative colors and materials, accentuating the charm and historic value of the place. Assignment: EI DB room entrance doors.
