The brief was to create the perfect home for my clients, one that encapsulated their personalities and needs while offering a calm oasis with a boutique feel. A strong connection between indoor and outdoor living was paramount, ensuring a seamless transition that embraced resort-style tranquillity.

To achieve this, a timeless neutral base palate was carefully selected. Soft grey lime-washed walls, natural oak floors, marble and metal accents formed the foundation, this was complemented by a curated colour palette of fabrics and textures that coexist harmoniously.

Every element, from macro to micro, was thoughtfully considered. Design classics were paired with vintage and antique pieces, while artifacts and accessories reflected the client’s personal style. Given the site constraints, selecting the right FF&E was crucial.

The design balances luxury and sustainability, incorporating responsibly sourced timber, breathable lime-wash paint, and durable stone and metal fixtures that develop a natural patina over time. Sustainability extended beyond materials to craftsmanship, handcrafted furniture by local artisans blended with custom pieces made from eco-conscious materials. Textiles, including natural linen, wool, and recycled fabrics, were chosen to enhance the serene, luxurious atmosphere. The result is a home that feels both sophisticated and sustainable, embracing contemporary living with timeless elegance.
