Material
“The material that I have named MARWOOLUS was born from my whole identity, in terms of places where I belong to, where I grew up and it reveals my being. Prato a textile industry town and Pietrasanta the town of marble.
I thought to combine the representative goods of these places, the marble and wool, and melt them together to get a new material. I have used those parts that are usually called waste of the production. The result is a material that could remind you of the marble with its typical streaks but at a more detailed look it reveals its main characteristic, which is an interference pattern composed of fibers casually strewn and give fluidity to the drawing making it more dynamic, elegant and visually soft.” Marco Guazzini, 2015
