Hotel Mandarin Oriental Milanthe 5-star luxury, style is a combination of the elegance of Italian design and Asian traditions. Located in Via Monte di PietĂ , near La Scala Theatre, the hotel occupies four 19th century buildings, completely renovated according to the project of the prestigious architecture studio Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel Interiors, which was inspired by the homes of upper Milanese class from the 1930s to today to create ambiences in a contemporary, residential style. There are 104 guest rooms, 32 of which are suites, furnished in a modern, elegant style with hi-tech, ultra-luxury details. In addition to rooms for meetings and events, the hotel also has a restaurant, a bistro bar, a spa and lounge areas.
The furnishings of B&B Italia and Maxalto perfectly match the style of these sophisticated and elegant interiors. The Jean armchairs and the Febo ottoman furnish the reception area; the Fulgens stools, the Febo small armchairs and the Lucrezia sofas outfit the amazing Mandarin Bar Bistro, all in optical black and white tones; the Febo chairs covered in velvet dress the sophisticated Seta restaurant, and the Fulgens chairs paired with the custom made marble table furnish the private dining room. The Charles Outdoor sofas and the Papilio Outdoor armchairs are the unmistakable focal points of the outside areas.
The private ambiences of the bedrooms and suites house the Febo armchairs and sofas, while the majestic Alcova canopy bed stands out in the Presidential Suite.
The furnishings were supplied by B&B Italia Contract Division.
