The elongated plan of the residence likely informed the layout, fostering a sense of openness while minimizing abrupt divisions between functional zones. The use of neutral tones for the background palette effectively establishes a restrained architectural canvas, allowing for the functional compositions to be articulated through the juxtaposition of contrasting textures, colors, and materials.

The ground floor, as the heart of communal interaction, incorporates an open-plan configuration that promotes movement between the kitchen, dining, and reception areas, while the integration of the staircase as a vertical circulation element leads one to the more private and contemplative spaces. The upper floors, including the second floor, which houses the bedrooms, study, and orangery, are likely designed with a more introverted character, providing a sense of seclusion and comfort.

The materiality of the project plays a central role in its tactile experience. Natural wood and stone are utilized not only for their visual appeal but also for their ability to ground the space, creating a warm and organic atmosphere. The ceramic tiles, with varying colors and textures, offer a rhythmic contrast, evoking a dynamic yet cohesive material dialogue. The inclusion of metal elements introduces a more industrial tone, which serves to punctuate the otherwise natural palette, adding an element of modernity and sophistication. Colorful textiles, carefully chosen, contribute to the warmth and vibrancy of the space, further enhancing its sense of individuality.

The living room, as a focal point, demonstrates an intentional use of color and material contrast. The predominance of white and sand tones imparts a sense of openness and light, while the integration of rough-hewn, tactile furniture elements in metal and wood provides a counterpoint that injects character and texture into the otherwise serene space. The strategically placed fireplace, integrated within the wall, not only acts as a functional heating element but also as a sculptural feature that introduces both warmth and visual interest. The use of decorative lighting with vibrant hues is a key design element that infuses the room with a sense of liveliness and an ever-changing atmosphere, creating moments of dynamic color interplay.
