Around 300m2 of oak 3-layer Select floorboards in 21x300 mm from pur natur as well as solid oak stair treads were laid in this private house in Munich. At the client's request, the floorboards and steps were treated with raw wood effect oil and finely sanded to give the floor a natural look and feel. The surface was finished ex-works in our factory in the Black Forest. The brain-side joints of the falling lengths are not chamfered, but lightly broken by hand with a sanding block. This gives the impression that the planks are continuous. In order to guarantee a special longevity of the stair treads, the edges were specially sanded. In collaboration with Jacob & Spreng Architekten and Stephanie Thatenhorst Interior, a feeling of unique naturalness was created here. From the measurements to the planning and production of the wood products to the installation, everything in this project was handled by pur natur. The result: an outstanding object that lets the high quality of pur natur wood products shine in all their beauty. This project is proof that oak planks can create a »light« expression in a room. Warm colour tones create a connection to nature. The oak floorboards complement the dark green of the kitchen to create a harmonious whole. Oak planks were also laid in the bathroom. Minimalism paired with naturalness. pur natur.
