This obstetrics and gynecology hospital has a patient-first philosophy and has been loved by locals for over half a century. The facade consisting of wooden louvers blends in with the quiet residential area of Seijo and symbolizes a “hospital as a house” that overturns the traditional image of hospital buildings being cold. The interior is integrated with a courtyard and has trees and plants, using plaster walls and solid wood floors to make sure the interior has the warm, soft look and feel of a house. The space is so comfortable that you may forget that you are in a hospital.
