Nationale Nederlanden opts for circular products made from waste for their NN Workspace in 2020.
The project transformed the Nationale Nederlanden facilities into a place where excellent service is provided to customers and where employees work together towards the future of the company. A working environment created to make every employee feel good. The project involves a total of approximately 50,000 m2 and was carried out in the iconic buildings Delftse Poort in Rotterdam and Haagse Poort in The Hague.
The following sustainability goals were set: 100% circular, 0% waste and the lowest possible "shadow price" or environmental cost indication. With an intrinsic motivation, Pieter and Peter from NN thought it is important that they take responsibility as a facilities organisation with such a large project (almost 50,000 m2). This also aligns with the values that NN uses as Care and Commit. These stand for acting with respect for each other and for the world we live in. In this, we do business with a focus towards the future.
