To kick off our 10-part ISH preview of new products, we turn our attention to AXOR. In Frankfurt am Main, the design brand will present itself with its pronounced focus on individualisation and a washbasin and bathtub series by Philippe Starck.

×Feel the joy of life and immerse yourself in a bathroom of colour – this is how AXOR's credo for this year's ISH could be described. As part of its new ‘Make it yours’ campaign, the design brand from the Black Forest is not presenting just any old collection of washbasins and bathtubs – the AXOR Suite series comes from none other than French design icon Philippe Starck! The immense freedom of design for luxury bathrooms, the noble surfaces and individualisation options enabled by AXOR's numerous collections will all be on show at the company's space in Frankfurt's Festhalle in March.
‘Colour plays a leading role in architecture and design. It underlines textures and modulates atmospheres, creates space and gives us distance from the everyday’
Just how great the effect that a personalised design can have on us can be experienced by means of several bathroom presentations, for which the brand has engaged various internationally renowned architectural and design stars. This allows visitors to experience first-hand whether they prefer to follow the expressive colour compositions of the London design duo Barber Osgerby, for example, or rather the harmonious, warm materials and colour schemes of Hadi Teherani.

×AXOR will also tie in its existing Distinctive initiative ‘From Personalities for Personalities’, as well as the colour tones curated by Barber Osgerby for the AXOR One range, which can be seen as the cornerstone, if you like, for a new way of looking at things. ‘The times of purist reduction and forced restraint are over,’ AXOR is convinced. ‘Colour plays a leading role in architecture and design. It underlines textures and modulates atmospheres, creates space and gives us distance from the everyday.’ In the bathroom, in particular, one of the most intimate rooms in the home, colour should therefore unfold its special effect on us.
AXOR can be found in Hall 2, Stand A02 at ISH in Frankfurt from 13 to 17 March.
