×As experienced architects, renowned office BIG, led by Bjarke Ingels, knows a thing or two about spaces, interiors and how people act in them. It would seem then only natural that their architectural expertise would extend seamlessly into the realm of furniture and interior product design. ‘We connect the big picture to the small details, increasing our overall influence for the built environment’, as they say themselves about their product design department. The Nawabari collection, a collaboration between BIG and BoConcept, introduces a captivating series of versatile art pieces that seamlessly adapt to diverse places. Whether gracing a residential space, enhancing a hospitality project or elevating an office environment, these creations provide functionality and inspire creativity.

בBIG’s wealth of experience in architectural design and construction is of great interest to BoConcept. They offer us a way to understand how apartments and public buildings are planned to be built in the years ahead, and they inspire us regarding how different types of spaces can be used. Furthermore, their commitment to sustainable materials aligns perfectly with our vision for a more environmentally conscious future.’ says Claus Ditlev Jensen, Collection and Visuals Director at BoConcept.
The Nawabari collection has been designed to be used together or as individual stand-alone pieces. BoConcept proposes the sustainable covering Blend Fabric from acclaimed Danish textile manufacturer, Gabriel, yet the whole collection can be customised with any type of fabric from the BoConcept range. Playing with colours and arranging the various shapes is a key part of the joyful interaction offered by this collection. ‘BoConcept is known for creating elegant designs that are timeless and look good in any interior space. This collaboration with BIG brings a new spirit of informality and fun, characteristics of BIG’s disruptive approach,’ as BoConcept’s Chief Marketing Officer, Paula Mc Guinness, summarises.
