Future-proofed: Brunner's Innovation Factory

When it comes to creating furniture together with leading designers, Brunner always focuses on the perfect interplay of functionality, quality and design. This requires an atmosphere of open communication and a distinctive company philosophy which offers space for extraordinary encounters and ideas.

The Innovation Factory has been at the core of Brunner's ‘Made in Germany’ innovations since 2018. It is housed in a well-lit hybrid building based on a master plan by the architects from HENN and combines a development workshop, production and logistics facilities, offices and a company restaurant.

For the international and multiple award-winning firm of architects, forms and spaces are created on the basis of the requirements and cultural contexts of the individual project. ‘The construction of the visibly modular wooden support structure picks up on the manufacturing idea at Brunner, where a great deal is still crafted by hand. The materiality of the building is largely inspired by Brunner's designer contract furniture.’ explains Martin Henn.

The interior design of the office areas and the company restaurant was created by the prestigious design studio Ippolito Fleitz and makes the corporate architecture come alive. The result is a holistic campus that does justice to the company's steady growth – with optimised processes and more space for development, communication, creativity, innovation and production.
