It knows, however, that nailing a silhouette to swoon over is not the whole story when it comes to furnishing the world, and so in a bid to offer a collection of products, both old and new in design, that works for areas of high footfall and daily usage, Cassina PRO has been developed.

Cassina PRO pays attention to the details that make furniture fitting for public use – in offices, hospitality and public spaces. It looks at safety parameters, practicality and durability, and where necessary, has adapted its existing furniture’s structures and materials to improve performance in all areas and meet industry standards around the world. In some cases, this means design tweaks to improve stability, refinements to accommodate modern functionality and environmental and safety material upgrades.

Wherever you are in the world, Cassina PRO aims to target local standards and offer additional certifications upon request.

The new products commissioned to augment the Cassina PRO collection, meanwhile, are made with all practicality and modern certifications in mind. In addition, for example, to answering the call for an ergonomically moulded, high back swivel chair, the new Exord armchair, designed by Jeffrey Bernett, is made tough and clean enough for constant use while its components can be separated and upcycled at the end of its lifecycle.
