Simplicity takes centre stage in CEAdesign founder and creative director Natalino Malasorti’s design for Abaco, a completely customisable, modular system that integrates all necessary bathroom technology into a single component.

×Purity, clarity and functionality are all distilled in CEA’s singularly stylish, futuristic Abaco bathroom collection. It is Natalino Malasorti, CEA’s founder and creative director, who conceived this modular, linear, highly ordered collection fashioned from hygienic and sustainable stainless steel, the brand’s signature material.
This beautifully honed range unites stylish, coordinating elements stripped of anything superfluous – a monolithic vanity unit with drawers, a bidet and toilet, both with integrated washing and drainage functions, washbasins, taps and minimal shower heads emitting a slender column of water or sensuously enveloping rain showers. ‘Abaco integrates all bathroom technology into a single modular system,’ explains Malasorti. ‘The electrical and plumbing systems are included in an essential unit, which incorporates the sink, toilet, storage space and a bench.’

Abaco, like CEA’s other products, is also impeccably ecological. This exquisitely well-proportioned line, made entirely of anti-bacterial stainless steel with a low carbon content, is extraordinarily durable and so sustainable. During the manufacturing process, dependent entirely on renewable energy sources, no paint, galvanic treatments or chemical transformations are added. The steel is cold when it is worked and so doesn’t overheat the environment. All designs consume little fresh water and CEA’s manufacturing methods used for its finishes cannot be faulted on environmentalist grounds; these too are impeccably ecological.
While causing maximum impact aesthetically, the Abaco collection makes a minimal impact on the environment – a win-win outcome.
