From the very beginning, HÜSLER NEST has relied entirely on natural materials – and is therefore bang up to date.

×Deep, healthy sleep is something most people only appreciate when they’ve lost it. Hüsler Nest has dedicated itself to making sure that doesn’t happen – because a Hüsler Nest is intended as an oasis of tranquillity, wellbeing and relaxation. The magic formula is a natural synergy between humans and nature.
Keywords like natural materials and sustainability, which have meanwhile mutated into buzzwords, have been part of Hüsler Nest’s philosophy right from the start and are closely interwoven with the products. ‘Solid wood, new wool, natural latex and cotton are still our four main ingredients for this great recipe,’ explains Adrian Hüsler.

×And they couldn’t be more in tune with the current times: the four-layer, natural sleeping system, consisting of a frame insert, Liforma spring unit, natural latex mattress and overlay, has remained virtually unchanged for almost 40 years. Thanks to a special slat system with what Hüsler calls Trimelle slats, it ensures unique comfort and orthopaedic benefits.
Such a high level of comfort is appreciated outside Switzerland too. Along with Germany and Austria, Japan has also become an important market for Hüsler Nest. ‘The Japanese really appreciate our philosophy, and our products are easy to adapt to their culture – the Liforma spring unit is placed under the futon as a single layer and simply rolled up and stored in the morning,’ says Adrian Hüsler.
A great deal of expertise goes into this unique sleeping system – along with a great deal of craftsmanship. The sleeping systems are produced and assembled by hand in Grenchen. They contain no metal or plastic parts whatsoever – an attribute that’s extremely popular with customers, especially in this day and age. Hüsler Nest has been observing increased sensitivity towards health and sleep for quite some time now: “The average age of our customers today has dropped by about 10 years as compared to just five years ago,” says Adrian Hüsler. ‘We’re also noticing that because they’re not travelling very much, customers are attaching more importance to their homes and sleep again.’

×So when Hüsler Nest opened its eighth shop in Grenchen this spring, the timing was just right. Here and at the stores of Hüsler Nest’s many partners, customers can look forward to a welcoming atmosphere where they can try out the entire product range and seek advice. Besides various mattresses and bed frames, they’ll also find accessories. A special highlight: the Hüsler Nest mattress can now be adapted to camper vans, guaranteeing a good night’s sleep even on the road.
