Hamburg-based lighting company TOBIAS GRAU focuses on LED technology. From design, through development, to production, the company places a strong emphasis on the highest-possible quality and the manufacture of innovative products for the residential, office and architectural areas. The combination of form, functionality and future-oriented innovations is the company’s driving force, and it has already received numerous design awards.
Tobias Grau’s design language is characterized both by very organic shapes and a reduced design. The FALLING LEAF and FALLING WATER suspension lamps captivate with their unusual, nature-inspired organic design. The FALLING LEAF suspension lamp consists of a fascinating combination of polished aluminium and matt premium-quality plastic in various colours, as well as an optical lens. FALLING WATER allows the light to fall down like drops of water, and provides glare-free, intensive lighting. State-of-the-art LEDs are integrated into every luminaire head, and these are powerful, dimmable, offering brilliant light and optimal colour reproduction. For the office, the Tobias Grau portfolio includes JOHN and the XT-S series. The minimized design language and the restrained design give JOHN a modern and timeless character. Its design means that it has a discreet appearance on the desk while still providing enough light for the workplace. Two spring joints mean that the lamp can easily be adjusted to any desired position, while two opposing dimming switches on the luminaire head allow left- and right-handers smooth control of the light. JOHN can be used as a table, floor or wall lamp. In addition to white, it is also available in the colours of titan, sand and charcoal.

×The new XT-S office-lighting range also captivates with a clean, reserved design and a very flat and elegant lamp-head shape. The latest LED technology combined with a newly-developed light panel mean optimal glare control and light distribution in the workplace. The luminaire is available as a floor, suspension and wall lamp, with table versions in white and charcoal also on offer. There are six pre-defined light colours in the range of 2700 K to 6000 K (Tunable White), enabling users to choose anything between warm white and daylight white light, depending on the time of day and requirement.
