The Symetrics modular system from Dornbracht receives the Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany 2010 in the product design category. The top class jury selected 5 gold and 18 silver award winners from over 1,200 nominations, amongst them Symetrics.
The Symetrics modular system is a complete architectural bathroom concept. With its exceedingly precise structures, the design of Symetrics gives the bathroom more space and freedom.
The Symetrics grid: all mounted products lie on a horizontal angle and have an exact clearance corresponding to the Symetrics 60 millimeter grid principle.
The Symetrics grid: all mounted products lie on a horizontal angle and have an exact clearance corresponding to the Symetrics 60 millimeter grid principle.
×All Symetrics modules were designed in accordance with this grid (basic dimensions 60x60mm), so that they can all be freely combined. All functions fit perfectly with everything else following the grid outline, the wash stand, bathtub, shower and bidet. Thus the emphasis is not on the individual fixtures, but rather on the bathroom in its entirety.
Symetrics has already been awarded "The Chicago Athenaeum" Good Design Award 2008 and the IF Product Design Award 2009.

×Due to the reduction of the basic dimensions, the bathroom always remains tidy, with everything aligned to the visual rhythm of the grid. Thanks to its refined design, Symetrics can be combined with various Dornbracht bathroom series and can be complemented with well-suited accessories.

×The Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany is the highest official German award in the design industry. No other design prize has such high requirements of its participants. A company may only take part in the competition if their product has already received a national or international award. A further condition for participation is that it must be nominated by the Ministries of Economics and senators of the respective Federal States or by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology.
