×Francesco Binfaré designed Edra’s Standway sofa as his last word on sofas – the sofa of all sofas if you will. An all-rounder for all types of interiors, Standway achieves Binfaré’s most harmonious balance of comfort and beauty and includes Edra’s latest innovative engineering including the mouldable Smart Cushion and Gellyfoam® technology.

×The Standway combines the best of Binfaré’s earlier sofa designs for Edra – the Standard, launched 2013, and the Standalto, launched 2022 – while offering a new feature with its subtle suspension off the ground and visible rounded feet. While it presents a continuation in the language of softness and elegance, it offers a new lightness.
Proving its adaptability, Standway is available in a number of linear or open solutions including a two or three seater sofa and large chaise longue armchair. There are various options for the depth of seats and width of backrests; and a range of full-bodied, soft fabric to choose from developed by Monica Mazzei, Edra Vice-President, in colour variants such as anthracite, dark grey, medium grey and light grey.
Complementing all types of interiors from historical to modern; Standway is the archetypal sofa for any space

×When it comes to the needs of the individual user, the Smart Cushion responds to slight movements of the body to provide customised comfort. For Binfaré, Standway has it all: ‘If I had to give a definition, I’d say that Standway is “the sofa”. I have always worked on the archetype. Standway is the essence of the image of the sofa,’ he says.
