With the release of two new catalogues, Italian brand Falper serves up a feast of inspiration on how to best combine and configure its rich programme of products for bespoke bathrooms and compact kitchens.

It has now also added award-winning kitchen design to its skillset. Increasingly, however, superlative design alone is not enough to draw in architects and developers, interior designers and lone renovators looking to furnish their own vision for the most functional parts of the home. Customisation, adaptability and bespoke are the buzzwords of the business and Falper’s offer is flexing to fit. For some part, it is the natural outcome of the current preference for mixing up materials in the design of our interiors – lining up marble and metal, for example, joining wood and ceramic. Falper responds by offering the same piece in multiple materials, colours and finishes – even the texture of the wood can vary in Victor Vasilev’s new iterations for Eccentrico pedestal basins and washstands. There are ten marble finishes available and a whole palette of tones for Cristalplant pieces. It means a myriad of combinations is available to sync with an interior’s own unique palette.

Also broadening the options is increased structural flexibility – both the MA bathroom system by Foster + Partners and Andrea Federici’s Small Living Kitchens™ have adapted sinks and cabinetry into free-standing islands or wall-fixed units. MA basins come as a single unit or with a lateral shelf. The designs are essentially frameworks within which elements can be added and reconfigured to fit the space you have.
