The Atelier series from Dauphin Group's Lounge Vibes range allows users to meet and work together in an office environment with alternative private space for quiet, focussed or personal tasks.
Quiet zones are also important in the office. Dauphin has created the Atelier series precisely for this purpose. Here, people can meet and exchange ideas without being disturbed

×Let's take a look at a furniture range from Dauphin which represents an important addition to the open and flexible constellations already offered by the Group. If the latter, with their freely positionable, adaptable elements, invite users to sit together spontaneously in pairs or small groups, the new Atelier series provides more private enclaves in the office, designed for quiet conversations or for concentrated work in the middle of the room. All that inspires is permitted.
Don't worry, though, users do not become completely isolated – as perhaps used to be the case behind closed doors. The furniture's high seating and sides help create a privacy screen while also providing an acoustic shield, which in turn creates space where users can more easily focus.

×Working on the principle of maximum flexibility, the different pieces in the Atelier family are optionally available on feet, runners or castors, and the seating elements are available in three alternative heights: 77 cm, 136 cm and 160 cm. In addition, there is a choice of three striking contours for the side walls. The C-shape creates the cosiness of a wing chair, while the A and B silhouettes allow for more openness. Powder-coated runners in black create a minimalist look, while solid wood feet offer a more homely feel.
To avoid disturbing colleagues when a call comes in, you can simply retreat to the Atelier booth – a kind of upholstered telephone booth, complete with storage space and lighting, but open to one side

×The Atelier collection was created by multi-award-winning designer Rüdiger Schaack, who recently began sporting a rather cool moustache, not unlike that of the great Luigi Colani. What's also cool is that people need no longer feel the need to bashfully leave the room when a private call comes in on their phone, because Schaack has also thought of that: they can now simply retreat to an Atelier booth – a kind of upholstered telephone box, complete with storage space and lighting – but open on one side. So, not impossible to at some stage perhaps overhear a colleague saying something along the lines of: ‘Yes, darling, it looks like I'll be late again today – it's so nice here in the office…’.
